First keeper rockfish - Annapolis

New to the area; grew up fishing Barnegat Bay in NJ. Hit Whitehall Bay/Creek Saturday at sunrise despite ~50 degree temps and ~15 mph winds. Glad I did...after a three-mile paddle from the in-laws' place in Annapolis, got my first keeper MD rockfish, 10 perch, and a chance to feed the in-laws fresh fish tacos. (Caught all on Perch Hounder lures.) Not a bad day.

PS- Picture angles are deceiving; promise this guy met the minimum!

I caught my first ever striper from a kayak in Whitehall Bay and my first keeper kayak striper there years ago.

You did well in difficult weather.

I'm located outside Philly, so Barnegat Bay and NJ places further get alot of my time and attention. Due to the heavy blow being predicted this weekend up north, I'll probably be looking around Bay Bridge area. Congrats on your first keeper!
