Anyone have a Type L Charter Guide License?

My wife gave me the go ahead to start a part time kayak fishing guide service (No. Not quitting my day job! )

I'm in the process of completing the Type L Charter Guide Application. Is there anything I need to know about the process? Is there a wait-list for this kind of thing or is that only for the gas powered boat Captains?

I know nothing about the charter license you are considering.

However, I wish you well. In suspect all charter captains feel some degree of pressure to put their clients on fish. To me, that sounds like a great way to ruin the joy of being on the water! If you can get by that, you'll be fine.
