I thought about it last night and into today.
I made a mistake. I maintain that the striper regs are bogus, and the people that made them are crooked. However, there are legal forms of protest, and I chose not to use them. No excuses. It was bad judgment on my part.
I apologize to all of the sportsmen and women on this page and in Maryland.
I will continue to fight for the striped bass fishery and urge our leaders to make better choices that benefit the fish, not pad the purses of businesses. I hope you all can forgive me and join me in this effort.
