July 1st Report

Had the creek to ourselves this evening. Little rain and then the heat and humidity made for a great top water bite. Caught some snakehead on swim jigs and pop-r's as an added bonus. several LGmouth and a fair share of missed hits. Great evening indeed. And these guys can cast very well.

I have not made it to the "Creek" this year.
Is that area still hammered with the Bow shooters?
I have been spending my fishing time on the middle Patuxent, with little luck. The Pax water is brown and nasty compared to the Creek.
