Kayaked out of Abell's Wharf late yesterday afternoon and fished till dark. Drift fished from the point to Buoy Marker 8. Caught half a dozen white perch on each drift, a channel cat, two 15 inch rockfish, and a large cownose ray on the way back. Had to beach myself at the point to get the ray in and then it broke off about 5 yards from shore. Overall a very fun and action filled trip.

Glad you found some fish. The more you fish the area the better you’ll do. If you enjoy perch don’t pass up the opportunity to cast under the docks in the area.Mike

Nice report. Glad to hear the fish are hitting in BB. I went out last night at sunset and only got two sub 15" rock. Saw some Ray's and had to peddle away.Tight lines
