Fished St. Clements Island 10/09/11. with my wife and son. Perfect weather. Top water action was decent in the outgoing rips of the wharf side bar. Southside riprap produced the trout. Caught 80 + rockfish and bluefish. ( 12" to 22".) Wife caught a couple nice speckled trout. Few perch as well.( ½.oz bucktails, grubs, and cast masters worked fine).

We launch from Colton’s Point Marina. It’s about 2.5 mile paddle to the island. I’m sure there are closer launch sites but the facilities there are great.Ocean Kayak Ultra 4.7
