Fishing the east side of the Bay Bridge

Looking to kayak fish the east side of the bay bridge.

I know of metapeake and Turtle beach for launching. Can you still launch from the little beach there south of the bridge next to Hemingway’s?

No, they stopped that a few years ago.

I usually launch at Matapeake and back in my younger days I would launch at Terrapin. The walk from parking to Terrapin is a solid 1/2 Mile and ends in a little bit of sand drag. I would prefer to launch from SPSP and peddle the 4 miles to the east shore before doing that hike at Terrapin again. Good luck and be safe.
