    Wow, that sounds terrifying. Glad you dodged a very close call. Fish OC long enough and everyone will usually have an similar encounter. I had my at night while fishing the 50 Bridge a few years ago. Take care my friend.

      But either way - you wouldn't catch me out there in that! I've been out there before during WMO before and won't do it again. It's not worth it with the size of some of the boat wakes hitting you.

        Just a reminder to myself that I always have to be paying attention and that it's not just the tourist yahoos you have to be careful about.

        P.S. We need to get out together again soon! It's been awhile...
