Got to lock G about 7am ,trolled deep diving crankbaits up to the bridge it felt like it took forever to get there ,strong winds, current and chop. The water is still tinted brown but i didn't see much debris.worked my way up to the first channel with no hits, switched over to a spro 1oz/twister bucktail and started jigging the pilings back to shore, at piling 54 got a 20" striper.tried jigging some more but no hits so armed the rod with a crankbait and paddled back.I saw one other kayaker fishing in a blue kayak but to far to say hello.

Last week I heard a report that the fish were hitting at that pipe just north of it. I was on my way home last Sunday and there was easily 20 boats fishing around it and only one or two on the bridge pilings. Report this week seems to be hit and miss. Water is very fresh still. Hopefully water salinity improves and fishing picks up.
