Put many miles on the yak (10? 15?) during very tough conditions in big water on Friday searching for a good light tackle bite. Very challenging until about 2 pm when the wind died down, and started chasing big flocks of birds and bait on the Lowrance. Action was decent just before sunset; ended up getting 6 or so footballs (biggest 25" or so) and snagged (unfortunately) a lot of perch.
I'd gone out on a boat a couple weeks ago and the bait/birds were much thicker than on Friday...hoping a lot of fish stick around over the winter--my favorite time to fish as most people hang up the gear.
