It has been a while but things are looking up...got a nice fat 20 inch speck that I smoked that was just incredible Tuesday morning and had a couple today I released...SMOG crew plus Teddy today...lots of stripers, a few quality fish mixed in but many, many smaller fish...both trips have produced a big white perch...still too early for any concentrations of specks...we need some 80 degree days! The end of trophy season should be a better fishery...we all have sore arms from reeling in fish...the fish are pretty much holding in 6-8 fow...I was using 1/8 oz deathgrip jigheads and ZMan elastic plastics liberally slathered with ProCure...
