OC Back Bay July 14 and 15

Fished in my classic kayak south of the route 50 bridge on the west side and north of the route 90 bridge on the east side using minnows on a 1/8 oz shad dart. The two day bite was moderate. 15 flounder 10”-15”, 12 croaker 8-10”, 1 16” rockfish and an unknown species of ray which provided about 5 minutes of entertainment before it broke-off. All fish safely released back in the bay.

Not bad for these dog days. Still waiting on a decent flounder bite in the bay, at least where I’m fishing.
