    Very nice Martin.

Given the price of crabs this year, you were mining gold!

Great video, thanks for posting. I started crabbing from my kayak this year - I've never crabbed before in my life. I'm having limited success... most trips I'll be lucky if I can get a dozen keepers. I chalk this up to inexperience/lack of knowledge, the fact I'm only running 10 collapsible traps, and the overall terrible year for crabbing that we've been experiencing in the Bay.

Seeing your videos gets me thinking I should sell my traps and get a trotline setup. It seemed a bit intimidating to start out with, but I think I could handle it now. I'm still not convinced I really love crabbing (and I know I picked a bad year to start)... I find it equal parts rewarding and frustrating, so maybe I should go another season or two with the traps before I invest in a trotline.

I love your videos. Been following for a while, inspired me to do trot line on my Hobie. Works great!
