  • Heading to the BB on Sat 1/7

I'm gonna head down to the bay bridge Saturday morning to see if I can hook anything. I'm gonna try to drift some live minnows passively and jig plastics around the pilings and rock piles. If nothing bites, I'll pedal south and head into Whitehall creek to see if I can get lucky on any pickerel that may be hanging out there. If anyone is there, look for the MKF sticker on the port side of my white revo.

Skunked at the BB on Saturday. Kinda rough waters, but beautiful and WARM! Not sure why the fish didn't like what I was offering... But I did get my 2012 fish today! (not at the BB)

Hmmm ... I wonder if stripers are around. I was hoping you'd catch a striper off the pilings because I wanted to fish the BB this month.

      Thanks for the report.

Catfish in the Mattawoman on a chunk of bunker courtesy of ronaultmtd. Totally woulda skunked again without that valuable bait.

Hey, just cause I didn't catch anything doesn't mean they're not there. But I tried for a good 4 hours where I'd caught them a few weeks ago by the eastern rockpile. Nuthin, nada, not a bite. Lost a big bucktail. Water temp was right at 40.
