Great catch. Never fished Wayson's before, might have to try to find it and give it a go. That plate of perch looked great too!!!

Any possibility that some of the snags you encountered were actually nets set out to catch yellow perch?

                    Thanks guys,

Matt, I'll take that rod. It wont serve the same duty as the one I lost, but that will work perfectly for these tiny lures I picked up for perch fishing at weems.

                    Tufnik,
Trust me...it took me more than ten seconds lol. Closer to 60...which still aint bad as an effective prep method!

                    HJS,
At this location I am certain that my snag was not a net.

Surfdog, I'll give it a look if we make it by walmart anytime soon. We had to get to tristate early to get some deals. Picked up a conventional trolling combo (Cabela's Depthmaster w/ line counter & Abu Garcia trolling rod for $25...it is spooled with braid too!)

I went there once (close to the launch place) and my GPS borke. I couldn't find the launch place even though Bill got me the good instruction.

                      What was the lure/rig?

                      Thanks,
                      Joe
