Chimo's catfish had to be 30 (+) pounds and he caught a big carp right off the bat waiting for me to launch in the first hole next to Slavin's ramp. He had the big fish hot hand yesterday-

I have two big bags of skinless, boneless filets- catfish filets for supper Sunday night! The water temp dropped two degrees when the tide changed and the water started rising- the fishing slowed down during the peak surge of rising tide- I think it had to do with the temp drop- Once the tide slowed the fishing picked back up again. I saw large schools of fish on the FF in 10' and less depth waters. I caught four catfish anchored (key way to catching fish was to use a fish finder rig baited with chunks of bunker on 6/0 circle hook sitting still) in the outside edge of a channel sitting in 6.5 foot water. Gusting winds made me wish I had taken my drytop with me, instead of leaving it in my car. I got cold a couple of times wearing just a thin long sleeve tee shirt. It was a lot of fun fishing with all the guys from the forum-

Outstanding work, gentlemen. Excellent pics, too. Looks like your travel rods got a good workout, Ron. What did Wayne's big cat and big carp take?

I think Wayne said the carp hit a gold spoon- and the cat was on cut bunker- Cexone had a nice bass and Camelbird got a yellow perch, so we had some different species of fish, but the cats are pretty aggressive at hitting baits, where the cold water slowed other species down a bit more-

As Maxwell the GEICO pig would say,"Pure! Adrenaline!"

                      What awesome catfish!

I need to get an anchor.

I caught my 3 fish on a roadrunner with a hotrodded 3" paddletail shad. I had a big one hooked early on but he broke off. Rookie mistake... My drag was really tight.

I fished the bunker a lot, but without an anchor, it made the fishfinder rig difficult to use and I was moving around tOo much. Need to get an anchor and set up a trolley.

Nice work! Yeah with the wind and the tide I was flying every direction out there.

Between the coffee colored water, the water temp and wind, you guys did well.

Nice haul guys! You did better on the cats than I did, I got no love at occoquan yesterday. I was using a live bluegill hoping for one of those monster flatheads but I think it was too big.

                                Wayne, that's a beast!
                                Used to fish more.
