Went out this moring and launch above Daniels Dam. Used a 5wt fly rod and caught a couple but a nice day. Had to stop and allow the for goose crossing.

nice pics...how well does the pro angler perform in choppy weather? would you take it out in the bay on a rough day? i really like the set up of the pro angler but not sure how stable it would be in some serious chop.

I have taken it out in 1-2 ft. waves with no problems. The only issue I have ever heard is the large front compartment allows some leakage. The fix has been to put 1/4 -3/16" foam to provide a good seal or additonal straps. I have no problem with mine so far. I am going to add the foam to the lid of the front compartment just in case. The straps provided seem to be enough. The PA is very stable and I have no complaints. I fly fish so standing in it on not so choppy days is great.
