Absolutely man. Tentatively, I'm in. I might try to catch the outgoing tide in whitehaven first thing, but ill join you guys when I get back. The only thing that would stop me would be if I have to look at houses. Ill let you know for sure in a couple days.

From the ferry. We just asked the driver and he was fine with us parking by him. There is a small beach where we launched at.

We launch from Whitehaven. Dusk/dark can be a really productive times, but just like anything else, you need to fish the tide. High on Sunday is about 4:00 AM and 5:30 PM. The outgoing is nice because you can catch the perch leaving the guts and creeks with the water. Hope you can make it Sunday. I won't be able to make it tonight. Working too late

I'm gonna come out and try tonight thanks for swaying me in the right direction haha I get off at five and have to be back here by nine so probably only relish hours on the water tonight ithink. Would you be interested in fishing the last part of high tide Sunday am?

If you go tonight, good luck. Find a creek and fish at the mouth of it. I'm definitly interested in going Sunday AM. I'll post on here later this evening when we are planning on launching. Likely really early and fishing the entrie outgoing.

Yeah I was looking on Google and the creek right by the ferry with the bridge going over it looks pretty fishy. From the air at least Haha I might even have to break out the ol Minnie bucket and give em a try like you said

I would suggest using bloodworms over the minnows. Cats are there. We caught 3-4 of them last weekend. I've never tried minnows there, always bloodoworms and have had a lot of success.

I use two rigs - a carolina rig with a j-hook (so you can set the hook) and a fish finder rig with a circle hook (so they hook themselves while you put your other rod down). I drop the carolina rig until the egg sinkers hit the bottom and reel it up 1 or 2 cranks so the bait is the only thing on the bottom.
