    "My Lake" 3/8/12 - w/ Naysayer

    Beautiful Windy day on the lake today. wind is a pain on any type of water, had me spun around most of the day, but we still caught a lot of nice fish...

    No big bass today, but we found a nice school of crappie from 10-13inches.

    I caught about 10 crappie and probably 8 bass up to 15 inches. My new Carrot Stix rod came in today too!!

    Those are some fat crappie. You were determined and brave to kayak in today's wind.

      Nice crappie. I was wondering how you guys were doing as I sat in my office cursing at my computer. I wish I could find crappie like that at St. Mary's Lake.

          I thought about keeping them, but decided I was too lazy and didn't want to clean fish. But I'm gonna have to start keeping them to try and get the population down some so they don't take over the lake.

                It was a good day even with the nasty wind. I caught 6 LM and one nice fat crappie. I had another crappie or two spit the hook at the yak. I'll shrink down my pics from today and put them up here tomorrow.

                  Anytime it was fun...

                  I've never had to resize photos it accepts pretty much anything here?

                          A good public lake for crappie is Tuckahoe. That should be happening right about now or very soon.

                            Every time I've tried to attach photos I've had to resize them. I leave the camera on the highest setting so they are usually around 2.2 Mb each.
