Johnsons Pond Today 3/14

To any of you Salisbury guys, Im goin to hit Johnsons pond after my 12:00 class today. I should be there around 1. I plan on heading to the north branch, although Ive only fished JP once. Im in an orange Tarpon 160...cant miss me.

Went out for about 3 hours today. Slow beginning, only 3 crappie and 2 bluegill on a small Rat L Trap (bleeding shad). After about 2 hours finally got a small LMB maybe 10 inches, then I finally got a nice one!! Right around 20" (Waiting on my Hog Trawl to show up). Caught both bass on a small (1/16 i think) white spinnerbait fished pretty slow. Not having a depthfinder is defiinitely holding me back.

All that being said, got my first LMB of the year, and enjoyed this BEAUTIFUL WEATHER!!! Great day in my book.

Awesome dude, nice LM. I might head out this evening after work. A trip to Gander might be in order to get some fancy new goodies.

I ave classes from 4-7 tonite so no evening fishing for me. I def need a Gander trip as the two lures I caught fish on yesterday are now 1. in a tree LOL and 2. missing its spinner blade. Im down for a weekend trip, I think Saturday would work best for me as I may be going home for spring break on sunday.
