  • need help with fishing with bloodworms for rockfish tips

    so me and my dad are about to go fishing on our boat at Thomas point with bloodworms. i have never used whole bloodworms for rockfish,will this work at Thomas point,is there any better spots near Thomas point ,and also what rig to use.. thanks for the help

    You are likely to get white perch with bloods at TPL. I have never caught a rock on bloodworm so I can't tell you how to go about it.

      10/0 circle hook, buy the extra large bloodworms and thread them on, have hook exit so point is exposed but barb holds it up. Fish at slow drift over marked fish or structure (in line weight). Caught 2 25" rocks last year with the wind blowing my canoe about 5 mph. It was classic.
