First fishing after a long break

A family emergency kept me out of fishing for a while. I fished first time as my situation got better. I fished my home water (an hour and 20 min drive) so I can come home within a few hours when needed.
I found that the creel limit had been changed: one striper per person @20" and larger. So, I decided to keep a striper over 23"
Luckily, I got one at 25.5"

Thank you for the report Joe. That looked like a lot of fun. I really enjoyed how you showed your rigging as well as the on-water repair to your drive....as someone who expects that I will likely move to a Hobie in the next year or two, it is helpful to see repairs and to understand the expected wear and tear/life of parts of the drive.

I am glad that you were able to get back on the water. Kudos to you for being a caretaker...that is a great service.
