Chesapeake Beach 4/24/2012

we left chesapeake beach around 630am, got out to 35ft water and started rigging...had the rods in the water by like 7. got the 1st one after 15 mins(about 38-40ft water), got 6 more by 1030am(kept 4 biggest). all were caught in 40-50ft water. great day on the water today!!! go get them out there if you can, they are there!!!



my gf reeling in her first fish ever, and it was a big fat one..she is hooked!!!

not very far to my surprised, few miles i would say

I'd like to go out there, but if the wind and waves aren't cooperative, using the yak to go out a few miles can be scary.

yea it gets kinda choppy out there, but it's doable!!!

from the launch straight out it is 1.8 miles to 30' of water. It would take about 30-40 minutes to reach that water via kayak

trolled from 7am til 2:30pm today, trolled almost everywhere outside c. beach....boated 3 just shy of making the size......one of those days i guess

Had the same thing on my trip yesterday. Brutal. 11hrs on the water...three short stripers. It was tough out for everyone yesterday. Something gave em lock jaw
