I fished the Patapsco yesterday, and the river was absolutely full of bait that was up shallow. I would recommend to find the bait, and fish at those depths. That's where the stripers will be.

3 of us fished, 2 crabbed out of the kayaks.
2 peddle kayaks with fish finders trolled out to and around/trough the oyster beds, no hits and nothing showed onthe Hook5 sonar.
Worked our way trolling out to the dropp off in front of brooms island,,drops from 5-6' to 35-40' in short order,, trolled and jigged the drop off for an hour,, nothing hit and nothing showed on the sonar.
Trolled the edges of the docks and casting between on our way back, nothing,, went back to the oyster beds, nothing.
The 3rd fisherman stayed around the mouth of the cove, fishing in the 3-6' range, nothing.

The wife got 22 large, heavy male crabs from the kayak.

4th fisherman threw small perch spinners (1/8oz Roadrunner with 3" grub tail) around the shore and structure,, The perch and Puppies of 2020 have vacated the area.
