image_25943.jpg Not a yak report.....yet. Fished around the Flats for blue cats this weekend. I have never targeted them before and we got into them pretty good. Got around 30 of them from 12-30lbs. I'm going to have to try this from the yak some day.

Massive fish, way to go. It's scary to think about how many fish this size are out there and the cumulative damage they are doing to the local ecosystems.

Thanks for posting this. Yes, they are pretty fun to catch and I can't keep myself from giggling like a little kid when I reel in one of those catfish that is the size of a dog. I think they are worth targeting when kayak fishing, especially when it's cold. Those suckers are active and eat all year long. It does seem like they are going to take over all of the rivers, lakes, and the bay eventually.
