I launched from Jonas Green Sunday mid-morning and fished until mid-afternoon. Despite my late start the conditions looked promising with bait on my FF, a light breeze and classic fall-overcast skies. I caught four stripers, the two largest were 19". These fish were fat and healthy, and all had some extra fight in them. I had expectations the bite would be better. I did fish through a slack tide. I chatted with a few boat guys while out on the water and they all reported none or limited catches, and a kayaker I met returning at the launch got skunked.
