  • Big Lower Shore Trout

I made it down to the lower shore on Friday in search of specks and was not disappointed. The biggest came on topwater at first light, with the others hitting 4” paddletails over grass flats. There were a handful of schoolie stripers in the mix as well. The big trout were released to spawn later this summer. Can’t wait to get back out there again!

Gorgeous fish. I was hoping to get a chance to head out for a few hours down there this weekend when I go to Crisfield to pick up my father and bring back to this side of the bridge for my kid's HS graduation. When I talked to him this morning, he told me he changed his mind and would just drive up here on his own. Haven't caught a speck that pretty in years.
