thursday and sunday trolling report

we went out thursday for 5 hours and trolled in between thomas point and the west river back and forth and caught nothing. ive been camping with the boyscouts this weekend but when i got home we trolled for 3 hours at gumthickets and bloodypoint. we trolled green and white parachute tandems,umbrelles and tony spoons ,storm shads, and crippled alwive spoons. we got skunked. weve been 3 times this year with no fish. last year we would have had our limit each time. idk whats wrong

sorry to hear that. at least weather's good.

it's hard to believe you guys have that great gear, are able to run it, but are really wrong in some other way. i don know. there's always some luck of the draw to fishing. and sometimes it seems like the fish just feed at some portion of the tide.

have you been fishing early morning?

yes on opening day but not the past two times. we usually catch fish any time of the day though
