Today's windy oh so windy trip was moved to Mattawomen Creek. WNW winds gave us a place to stay out the wind just like yesterday. In fact we fished the same spot as yesterday with totally different results. I put out carp rods and did not get a bite all day from the carp. But I also put out some catfish rods and boy did the big ones show up. Landed 25 cats for the day.

Good to see they're biting in mattawoman. I was expecting them to be all the way down river at this point with all the freshwater inflow. I was thinking of trying down at breton bay next weekend, but seeing this, i may head up to indian head.
