The area in front of Regan National airport is most likely one of the best spawning areas for striper. Really big girls meet many boys out in front of the runways. 30 years or so ago and few earlier I would C&R the big girls on a 1/2 once rattletrap in chrome blue. The Potomac has a lot of protected water for these spawners. This a good thing.
I do not do that anymore.
