I went kayaking fishing with two other kayakers and we ended up loading up on blue catfish. Doing our civic duty one bite at a time.

Martin - Thanks for sharing your catfishing trip with us. Nice work on the video. I found a March 2012 photo from the first time I fished for catfish at Mattawoman. You caught some cats that day, but I did not. I returned a few weeks later and got my first cat. You have upgraded your gear since then.

I enjoyed the video, I made it out there on the 14th with my kids (man was it windy, I was in a tandem sit on top with two kids lol got my upper body workout in getting back to slavins) and we caught one and took it home for a fish fry. Would have been 3 if I had done a better job checking the knots I left on the terminal tackle on the kids poles from last year ugh but I live and learn.-JustinComment
