My buddy and I hit Piney Run on Friday for some bass fishing from his boat. Dense fog was the story early in the morning. It cleared out and became sunny, then we were pushed off the water by an approaching thunderstorm.
I caught one 11 inch largemouth on a jointed Rapala minnow. Then the reliable beetlespin resulted in two nice 16 inch largemouths. My buddy lost one bass on an x-rap and another on a shad rap.
