rocky gorge and bay bridge

Fished Saturday evening @ rocky gorge, picked up several nice bass up to 18" and a channel cat around 8 or 9 lbs on a trolled spinner bait thought I had a pike or bass the way it fought. All fish caught on the troll with spinners and rapala countdown.

Fished from boat today launched a SPSP around 6 am to overcast and chilly conditions with a misty drizzle hanging around. Trolled south of the bridge for about 6 hrs with only one landed around 23". Had a nice one on that came unbuttoned on its way up. Hopefully the rockfish bite picks up soon Im ready for a keeper.

Hey Backwater, what size spinnerbait do you use at Rocky Gorge? I've had success with a 3/8 oz one and wanted to try a heavier 1/2 oz one to get it down deeper, since the reservoir seems to drop down to 30 ft pretty fast.
