Friday May 25....anyone going out?

I have Friday off and was looking to head out on the water sometime that morning. Anyone else planning on going out?!

Hey I'm off work as well Friday...where were you looking at going out to? I'm trying to stick to freshwater still as i haven't gotten my yak fully rigged yet. Let me know where you are headed.

I was thinkin of heading to mattawoman since it is close by.

Ok that seems like quiet a hull for me . I'm in Frederick. Where exactly is mattawon? I know the general area but where do you put in at?

There is a boat launch at Mattingly Park in Indian Head, MD...It's at the end of Mattingly Avenue.

OK cool...pulled it up on google maps and looks like it would be a 2 hour trip there for me which is just too far for me on friday....sorry man, wish I could go..looks like an amazing spot!!

Thats fine man, I completely understand not wanting to make that drive. Eventually when I get more comfortable on the yak I plan on hitting the bay, not quite there yet though.
