Hey guys, any one looking to fish monday? I would like to go south bay or the Potomac...maybe Elms Beach, Smith Creek or Piney Point, but I am up for other ideas as well.

Sorry Kevin, I would like to go fishing but I spent Saturday groundhog hunting and am getting on a plane early Wednesday morning flying to Portland, Oregon, for a week business trip- wife and Daughter want me to spend tomorrow with them- (and I am taking my Chark Bite travel rod with me for some west coast salmon fishing)

We didn't find any snakehead but caught plenty small to medium large catfish. My brother had a huge bass on that was easily 5 pounds if not bigger. It jumped out of the water and then broke the line, 15 lb fireline!

I had a decent bass at about 3 lbs hooked on a chatterbait but it jumped off...

If all rockfish count I had a great day!! If you don't consider 10 and 12 inch rockfish worth catching-- I had a lot of exercise!

You guys are brave to fish the Pax with all the crazy boaters out there.

Sounds like the perch are heading to their summer haunts. I haven't had any luck with them around Solomons. I can't get my lures through all the yearling stripers.
