  • Moc picture in Annapolis Capital paper

I was eating breakfast this morning while reading the Sunday Annapolis Capital paper. The sports section includes the weekly outdoor column by C.D. (Chris) Dollar. This week's column included some information about yesterday's CCA Kent Island tournament. A photo of the organizers and the winners accompanied the column.

As I read the article, I saw that kayak angler Martin Charles had caught the largest rockfish in the kayak division. After that I looked at the photo, and there he was. Congratulations Moc!

The online edition of the article appears at http://www.capitalgazette.com/sports...e2b89000f.html. The large photo is of a 34" bluefish (part of a different story). Click on the smaller photo to enlarge it and see the CCA winners.

Thanks everyone. The weather conditions was less than ideal. Fishing was tough for all of us. I initially thought of doing the Bay Bridge, but after looking at the weather report, I thought that it was better to join SurfDog and fish the Narrows. The winning rockfish for me came when I was about to call it a day and head back to shore. It was a great time and thanks to all the promoters and sponsors, for putting it on, and thanks to SurfDog who told me about it.

I saw it on Facebook and was wondering if it was the same Martin.
