  • Bay Bridge 6/09

Launched out of sandy point at dawn started jigging bottom of pylons and rock pile with no results, did that for 2 hours. Then started casting to the cross bars connecting pylons. After a couple of cast I hooked up with a 22" that I snagged in the gut, I thought I had a monster. A couple more cast on the cross bars another fish 25" a lot bigger but a lot easier fight, hooked him the right way. There was good incoming current and I was using a dark green KVD plastic shad.

Nice to hear that a few decent ones are starting to shack up. Fished the east side I guess?

Nice going, thanks for the report. I think I might hit the BB next weekend. It's been too long....

Nice work on the pilings I hope to get out there soon on my kayak; I was fishing on a friends boat just south of the BB Sunday and caught 10 all between 22" and 26" so they're def in the area.
