Fished the shallow water south of the Bay Bridge this a.m and caught this beauty. Hope we can get some keepers before the cooler weather sends them south. This one was 15 1/2".

Very nice redfish. I hope they stick around well into the fall.
I read on Tidalfish that a guy was trolling in his powerboat yesterday off of Taylors Island when he hooked a huge red. After a prolonged fight, he got it boatside and estimated it was at least 50" long. The fish finally broke off before he could get it onboard and photograph it. It sure would be fun to hook something that strong in a kayak.John Veil
