Soon you will need night vision for the camera. Looks like the better fish are now in the river. You are a fishing machine.

Man that sucks... I did some Google searching to see if I could find a public launch further up the South river than Thomas point to no avail. Its a pity that access to the water is so privatized.

          Cool sailboat Southerly!

It is extremely nice (and somewhat unusual) to have access a nice big long private pier located on the western side of the Bay in deep enough water to hold keeper stripers- my sister owns such a picture perfect home (2 acres on the peninsula) bordered by Mitchell's Creek on one side and Cobb Island Sound on the other (the former CIA Director William Colby's place) at Cobb Island that is similarly situated with three piers you could fish or crab off of- but she is a retired Bank Executive and real estate developer....poor old me owns a kayak and a pickup truck...

That's crazy! LOL Bet it was a great feeling to get it on the water after you finished it!

there is an oyster bed and also a dropoff from 6 to 12 feet right out front of the pier and it is just perfect
