Had a few hours this evening to fish the Patapsco, north of the Key Bridge. Caught lots of schoolie sized stripers. Found some bluefish as well. Managed to land one just at 17" and lost a few that looked close to that size. I'm always unprepared. Wish I had some steel leaders and more fish bodies as they destroyed two packs really quick. Great evening considering there were plenty of large walls of water from all the tug traffic. Had to pay close attention. Still hoping to get my first keeper striper of the season.
