Trailed the recently purchased (used) "tin" boat down to Rumbley this past Monday for its baptism in salt water. First trip out caught two dink Rock and one Red, no skunk. Tuesday went out in it again in the morning and only caught on 16" Rock, all on plastics on a lead head. Tuesday afternoon I took out the kayak and hit pay dirt, caught 14-15 Rock, one legal; a 19" Speck and a fat 16" Red. Again all on white plastic.
Wind was a little difficult both days with both boats so I just ran 'em up on the grass fished for 10 minutes or so and then moved a distance away and repeated. Seemed to work.
