  • St Jerome's Creek - 10/4/2012

I fished the inlet from about 2 PM to 5:30 PM and caught 2 Speck's (16 inches) casting an x-rap in the first few minutes of fishing. After that nothing, trolled, cast, cursed, but nothing worked. As I headed back to the launch, I cast the shoreline in the narrow portion of the creek and caught a small flounder and finally caught my first redfish! He's a small guy, but he counts.

Overall a beautiful day on the creek.

It was more like slowly drag the grub along the bottom in about 2 to 3 feet of water.
