Fished the Hunting Creek for about 2 hours today after work. Fished a spot close to home where I learned to fish and was also the first time I fished from traditional kayaks years ago. I went out thinking I would find some Perch lost up in fresher water, so I threw Beetle Spins the whole time. Only one perch was to be found, BUT I managed to catch 3 fat Channel Cats and a very fat and healthy spotless puppy drum. Had a great quick trip!
