Launched out of Jonas Green this morning. Fished with the crew...myself, Grady-Black, Mytmouse, and Foursteps24. Had a good time on the water as usual. Today's mission was to catch table fare...perch. We had blue crab (from last week's crabbing trip), and various lures for jigging. The bite started fairly consistent. It would pick up...then slow down some times. The perch loved the crab of course. The artificial lure/rig that worked the best was the 3/4 oz lil bunka spoon, with a teaser above it. Jigging that produced nice size perch. Also caught small rockfish on that setup. The best of the day for me was a double header of 10" perch. I ended the day with about 15 perch in the cooler...maybe more, I didnt count.

Looks like a good 20 in there. Did you guys get out to the old rail road bridge or drift around mainly near where I saw you?

After you saw us, we went up to the old sunken bridge structure. That's where the baby stripers came in

Don't be taking credit for my cooler filling services. LOL. It was a great day out there! I keep saying I'm gonna fish the old railroad tracks, but I have yet to do it.

Lol yes. James added to my tally, as his wife doesn't allow him to bring fish home

That looks like a nice dinner. Did the perch prefer the teaser or the spoon?
