10/17 Perch fishing Solitude Creek

Went out in my otter and went to the bulkhead where I had caught a bunch of rockfish on monday. Struck out on the rockfish, but managed about 10 nice perch in an hour. One perch was 11in. Kept three and released the others. Lost 3 or 4 at the boat. They would make a run right at the boat and go under the kayak and I would lose them. I was in about 4ft of water so I stabbed the fish so they would not make noise(that is why there are holes in the head). Bite shut off after an hour so I came in.

Yes they were. Put up a good fight on my ultra light. They will be good dinner tomorrow.
