Nice, what did you get them on? Both bass look really fat!

I'm gonna find out how much of a hike some of the more remote ponds are

That's great - how late into the winter are the LMB catchable there?

If you don't mind me asking, what part of the ponds did you catch them at? I haven't caught bass there in a long time. Went there a few weeks ago and didn't see a single fish anywhere. Place seemed kinda dead to me.

I have no idea how late they stay biting. This is the first year ive fished in winter. I've bin fishing there for years and have never seen any fish besides carp but have always caught bass and pickerel

Ive been fishing here for years with my dad, and weve caught bass all through the winter, even big old small mouth. We fish here in dec, jan, feb and catch very good fish, pickeral, crappie, yellows are on fire, smallies, large mouth, even walleye.

We get everything in the first small pond and the river leading to the upper pond.
