[Tucked In]

Got a late start, didn't hit the water until about 9:30 from Hemmingways. fished around the pier and rocks for spot.Headed for the pilings to try some jigging, right as a approached the pilings it looked like a boat pulled in a nice fish around 20 inches is what they said. So I stuck around there and tried almost everything . finally decided to head in around 12:30 but gave one more cast using a 1/2 jig head and a charteus paddle tail shad around piling 62 on the east bound span and hit a 15" rock, three more casts and got an 17" rock, nothing after that so headed in for the day, maybe head back out tonight.

Cool. Thanks for the report. Based on your report and the guys coming back from CHSP, it sounds like it's getting to be time to try and do some jigging around the bridge again. Hmmm...

I did buy it and I do like it, its very stable the only draw back is its a little slow to paddle but it will last me till next year. Every time the guy I bought it from see's me he says I got too good of a deal, some times its nice to come out on the good side of a deal.

My friend caught a couple undersize ones and I got skunked.

I knew I was in trouble when I first started out when I realized
I forgot my Hobie Drive peddle system and seat at HOME!
I don't know how you paddlers do it but it was a pain in the ass
to paddle and fish at the same time. Never again!

Yeah that was me in the yellow ocean kayak, never had a Hobie so paddling is the only way I've fished(not spoiled yet). I only had one spot so jigging was the way to go for the day(to impatient to catch spot this morning).
