  • Quiet Waters on Saturday - No Fishy

Turtle135 and I met up at Quiet Waters Park on Saturday. It was chilly with drizzle. Water temps were around 36 degrees. I fished from around 9:30AM until 1:30PM with zero fish activity. We were targeting pickerel, but didn't see any forms of aquatic life. No minnows. No fish on the sonar unit. No fish observed in the shallows. Pretty much fished the whole creek section up and down from Quiet Waters park. Turtle fished a while after I left and he found nothing in a neighboring creek either.

Bummer. Have you fished there with success before?

Nope. First time there. Looked like a typical Annapois area creek to me. Looked like fine habitat. Docks, bulkheads, fallen trees.... but didn't see a single fish of any type in the water.

Yes, launch from the sand to the left of the boat rental place. You need a kayak cart for this place. It seemed like a 5-8 minute carry to the water from the parking lot.
