Susky Flats 4/8

Launched out of Tydings with Sparky @ 6:30am. Paddled over to the Perryville side to troll with Xraps and jerkbaits. Water was calm as glass and very clear too. Met up with Goody later on. After a couple hours of trolling I came up with nothing. Right before I decided to call it a day around 10:45 I managed a 24" striper in the center of the flats between the channels in about 12' of water, it threw the hook kayakside before I could grab the net from behind me to measure and take pics. I would have been livid if been able to keep. Had a hand on him so I guess you could say it was a 'quick release' . I didn't mark much on the FF until I caught so maybe I found warmer water holding a few fish. Missed 2 other strikes too making passes at the same spot on the same Yozuri gold floating jerkbait.
