I told a friend last year that I'd take him to kayak fish the Susquehanna Flats this year. We both waited eagerly for a whole year, and as the last week of April approached, my excitement died down as I read all the dire fishing reports from the flats.
I gave my friend some options of other places that we could try, but we stuck with our plan and launched at 7AM on Saturday from Tydings marina. We fished a bit with Yak Fish and DaveFX35, and I met HJS for the first time while loading up at the end of the day.
We trolled around the flats for 6 hours, and here are the fruits of all that labor (and boy was it laborious...I need a Hobie
)...
